  1. Congratulations! ? I love ‘Phuchka’ too. I am from Mumbai so we call it ‘Pani Puri’ but what’s in a name, it’s all the same. OMG! am already drooling reading your description about Phuchkas and now I can’t stop thinking about it 😛

    1. It does play havoc on tastebuds. I guess one can make it but I would be loathe to pour a ton of oil into the kadai 😉 Also, phuchka is different from your pani puri –
on the taste front. I am sorry but I shall be a totalitarian Bengali when it comes to phuchka 😉

      1. Haha 🙂 but exactly the thought that runs through my mind every time I thought of making the puri’s at home. It’s much easier to buy store bought and we usually end up buying them in bulk ?

      2. Well done! I should get my behind to the Indian store and buy some too. I mean it would definitely satisfy the cravings. Though the way the guy makes it on the Calcutta roads sans hygiene must necessarily add the necessary kick to it 😉
